Your First Sleep Care Visit

- Plan Your Consultation: Call our office to schedule your consultation with Dr. Ardovino.
- Visit Us: When you arrive at our office, you’ll be greeted by Angela at our front desk and taken to our treatment room. Angela will talk to you briefly about your sleep history, ask you a couple questions, and help you get comfortable in the treatment chair. After a few minutes, Dr. Ardovino will come in and introduce herself to you. She’ll sit with you and discuss where you’re at in the treatment process as well as next steps. She also delegates ample time in her schedule to making sure that all of her new patients’ questions get answered.
- Schedule Sleep Study: If you haven’t received a sleep study yet, our team will either direct you to sleeptest.com to set up your at-home sleep study or schedule a sleep study at a local sleep center that we work with routinely. A sleep physician will review your results and make a diagnosis based on your study results.
- Find the Right Treatment for You: If you already have a sleep apnea diagnosis or come to us looking for an alternative to CPAP therapy, you likely won’t need to receive another sleep study. We’ll help you find the right treatment for you by discussing all of your options. If this includes oral appliance treatment, Dr. Ardovino will have a customized oral sleep appliance crafted, which can take a couple of weeks.
- Six-Month Follow-Up: Our all-inclusive process offers clear pricing and includes all of the visits involved in your journey, including a six-month check-in appointment to see how your oral appliance is working for you. These included visits also encompass any efficacy testing needed to adjust your appliance within the first six months of having it.
